The underwriting department was amazing! Jeff was fantastic. Silas was also helpful, though we did not talk with him much.
I would suggest some streamlining measures to ensure details aren't lost. There were a few times that numbers did not make sense or requests had to be restated. Questioning numbers is not what you want to do with your mortgage lenders! Attention to detail is crucial!

Silas and teammate Martin were courteous, well informed, and listened. They responded promptly and addressed each question fully. Most of all I enjoyed Silas speak to me (on his way to his boys baseball game) about the new state and city I was about to move to "sight unseen". Yep, I bought my home some 2700+ miles away over the internet! Bottomline: I LOVE my new world, "South Carolina". I've never experienced such polite people. Silas and his team (Jeff and Coralis) did an excellent job communicating with me and making the financial portion of the transaction go smoothly. They also communicated critical information to me that others at a different company failed to pass along. I appreciate that Silas and Jeff talked to me professionally and reassuringly during a particularly tense moment when the closing date was rescheduled for the second time. I was in a better frame of mind after speaking with both of them.
